I am a Vodafone customer on a plan, I transferred my contract from M2 at the Start of this year and have had no issues up until now.  I cant receive texts from any 2 Degrees customers, I can get phone calls and they get my texts, they can call my mobile and get through and text other Vodafone customers just not me.

I have been told that Vodafone are not even getting the texts through on there end and that I need to call 2Degrees however 2Degrees don't think its their issue and won't do a trace on the problem numbers to find out whats going on.

I have had the settings checked on my blackberry and have been told they are all good, I have a Nokia E63 handset.

So............ I'm a but stuck please can someone help me with this issue??

I have update the other post so it redirects here. You don't need to create more than one topic.

Back to your problem, have you contact Vodafone help desk about this problem yet?

You have to take this with your provider - Vodafone in this case.

If this is the case I think it is, it is a problem at our end, but I think operations have already resolved it.

As the Vodafone guy here could you try just being helpful?

I've just switched from Voda to 2 Degrees, but kept my 027 prefex. Will keep an eye out for problems as I've heard there often are with ported numbers.

Hi ShanRen

I got your PM it has 3 6422xxxxxx numbers in it and nothing else, I have checked and none of these numbers are active on Vodafone,

This is the PM I sent you " Can I please have the mobile number with the incoming SMS issue from 2Degrees "

I've had a mate have an issue with his phone also.  Cant receive messages from ported 021, 027 numbers and 022 numbers - no 2Degrees customers at all can txt him but Vodafone and Telecom customers can txt him.
There seems to be a few issues with txting between networks at the moment.
He's called Vodafone and it sounds they are on to it.

What was the fix in this case guys?
