Wonder how long they'll keep accepting kiwi political asylum seekers. ;)
Silverwolf: Personally I'm looking forward to Orcon's Fibre, they already offer it in some places throughout NZ.

$239 a month for 100 down and 50 up along with a 1TB usage cap..
Currently getting charged 200 a month for 100 down 10 up, 150GB plan with Telstra... Currently using 350-500GB a month so it becomes quite costly with these ancient plans.
Salami: Telstraclear has released a new promotion called Get More . U guys haven't heard about it?
Salami: Maybe you should call them up if you aren't on the $75 promo or near to the end of your contract because one of the latest promo plan is
$105.00 per month for Call Local w/BB & 150GB
oh but your on inhome not homeplan so yea
DonGould:
As I said above, clearly what needs to happen is we all need to get really focused on getting Telecom DSL customers to move to Telstra
Ragnor:
Don you are such a Telstraclear fanboi.
People need to switch to ISP's other than Telstraclear and Telecom to have the effect you suggest (like Snap, Slingshot and Orcon) so those other ISP's have more economy of scale.
You want both Telecom and Telstraclear to have falling market share which prompts them into better competitive offers data cap wise, review of their no open peering policies etc etc.
DonGould:
I was simply addressing the question of how to get TelstraClear customers more value.
Stage 1 is we need to get customers off Telecom to TelstraClear.
