Glad I posted in the thread now. Cheers to the guys and girls at VF that actively read and reply to threads.

OoooooOooo It says that you get to keep the addon if you buy before october 31!
I'll be porting my number over if you pinky swear that in the foreseeable future this won't be revoked xP

This is good news...

Now we just need to have the ability to add another data pack should we run over our 500MB.

Telecom allow for multiple addons to be bought and used, cant remove and add the second at will but its better than a limit that you cant solve like the vodafone one.

With the plans basically equal as far as gigs/$ I know that I would rather have my 2 addons on telecom than risk it with a single one and overage on VF. Both are still providing a hell of a lot better value than my old $100 plan that I got inorder to get the free S2 so it will be interesting to see what happens come november.

One less thing for JR to do :-)

Smart 19 Talk and Smart 19 Data: Promotional minutes, TXTs and data refers to Smart 19 Talk and Smart 19 Data Add-Ons purchased prior to 31st October 2012. After this date, providing you have sufficient credit your Add-On will continue to renew monthly with the same promotional bundle of minutes/TXTs and data. If you cancel your Add-On or your credit is insufficient to renew, you will no longer be able to receive or purchase the promotional bundle.

Very nice to see, I found this style of plan to be very nice for the low users among us who like Data at a very nice price.

*Waves at johnr* it was nice meeting you at work yesterday, Keep up the good work =)

Just wondering if VF are looking at doing any other just data plans. eg I could do with a 500 or 1GB dataplan but without the 5000 odd text messages or calling. It appears that VF do have a 1 GB dataplan but it is like $80 per month, yet it is only $19 for the smart addon with half that data, so the numbers don't really stack up. eg I could get 1 GB of data for $38 per month using 2 vodafone sims and swapping them over

Thanks, I can't actually see that plan. The closest in supa prepay I can see is a broadband surfer 512MB plan for $30 per month, or broadband lite for $10. Do you have a URL?
