it was ages ago but as they gamed it was enough reason for long term customers to leave. more recently it has been the low inflexible datacaps keeping them from being an option to come back too. so many pple are amazed at how snap lets be change mid month even down if I havent gone past a lower plans cap.

NZGamingIcon: A case of too little too late, I would be actually surprised if anyone is actually still with Vodafone when they have been out of the competition for over 6 months now. If you are still with Vodafone you are either stuck in a contract or a very loyal customer. Other ISP's have been offering twice the data or more for the same or less cost.

Anyways last time Vodafone announced their so called "major" plans, they increased the data limits by only 20gigs while other ISP's were increasing by huge margins.

I'm still with Vodafone. :) Telecom can't match Vodafone. All Vodafone Call Centres are in New Zealand so you don't have fobs on the other line.

For $85 a month I get 160GB, Free MySKY, Unlimited iSKY, Free Calling to a Mobile, Homeline and SKY all in one bill. No ISP matches what I get from Vodafone at the moment..

$85 dollars for all that ??

I would love that deal, considering SKY basic package costs around $55 itself.

Can anyone clarify this deal ? /sigh

Yes this deal is given to ONLY current Vodafone Customers. So if you're a loyal customer and have been with Vodafone for at least 2 years you can register for this. By the way my plan is just the standard, some people have been getting better stuff, such as the 5 free best mates, 2 Months Free and Free National calling but nonetheless I still have an awesome plan.

Loyalty pays.

I was with them for over 7 years, The Indian lady only offered me $15 off double data, I told her that she left me no option but switch ISP, she said that's the best they can do.. This was several months back when Vodafone announced the +20gig on ultimate.

My mate who has been with Vodafone 1-2 years got $10 off and $15 double data and free modem.. I feel like I got screwed over by Vodafone, I really think they don't like their high usage customers even though they pay $30 extra a month.

You need to show them who's boss. :) I also had the same Indian Lady and she was also offering me what she was giving you, but you have to keep saying you want Free Double Data and the extra things and they will give it to you. You just have to keep nagging that lady and eventually she will give in.

Yes when you come to think about this it does not make sense, does it?  Why would you do this while on the other hand people who were paying $100 and over a month left just because VF didn't want to give them free double data (and just that and not all the other stuff mentioned above)?

Well in my case it was an India-accent speaking man, who was very certain that $15 off double data was the best they could do.  I have been with VF for about three years before I switched to SNAP.

I gave that extra $15 dollar to Snap and got 255GB/Mon for the same money and I couldn't be happier.

Wow so I might have to ring up and ask "very nicely" for a better deal. At the moment we are having to double our data every month so free double data would be nice.

Although at the moment 120GB isn't covering our needs anymore. 3 Laptops, 2 desktops, 2 android phones, PSP, Tivo, 2 servers and other misc internet connected devices plus our son getting more into it, it's all bad news for our data cap.

LOL why is this post saying posted on the 28th it's the 29th here, well last time I checked.

I like my people would be price driven, so would definitely switch for something that was going to save me money. So I just checked out the snap plans and 30GB of naked broadband costs $75/month whereas Vodafone are supplying me twice as much data for $20 cheaper.  So I wouldnt be happy switching at those prices.

Next week will be out of contract, will be changing from VF Ultimate w/ 160GB to Telecom 500GB for less money.

Too little to late Vodafone, you should have done better than only increasing ultimate by 40GB you might have kept my business

You should maybe read the previous posts, if you're out of contract you can call Vodafone to offer you a better deal. You can get the Double Data, Free National Calling and 5 Free Best Mates for much cheaper than the Telecom Plan for $85 a month.

I guess if you stay loyal you'll get the benefits. Unless you want to pay $34 extra to get the 500GB at Telecom with no National Calling or 5 Best Mates, iSky Un-metered or MySky discount.

Just to clarify, you still have to pay for the Sky Basic/Movies/Sports etc on top of the $85? Free MySky and iSky though

LOL! Of course you still have to pay for those packages! :P I think you might have been confused with my "SKY all in one bill". What I meant by this is that your Home Broadband Package is paired with your SKY Package all into one bill so you just pay for one instead of 2 separate bills. You get the Free MYSKY and iSky however. But noway would I receive Free SKY.

My Vodafone Package is $85 (With 10$ for Caller ID e.t.c.) a month and SKY is $120ish a month.
