Hey guys,

I've got a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet - this device has a IR Blaster, with the Smart Peel remote application installed. I've got both my TV and Blu Ray home theatre hooked up. All that's left to do now is have the T-Box hooked up so I can use the tablet as my Universal Remote.

The issue I'm facing is the App doesn't recognise the device. But, if a Logitech universal remote can use it, this tablet should be able to, as well.

Does anyone have any pointers?
Anyone tried doing this?
Does anyone know the T-Box codes?

Thanks

Just an interested query - isn't a tablet a bit unwieldy to use as a remote control? My normal use of a remote is to reach out an arm, grab the right one of the seven remotes on my coffee table, and use it whilst still lying down on the couch. Using a tablet would involve two hands, unlocking the screen, and then using it.

Is it that you want to use the tablet every time as your universal remote, or is it that you want the satisfaction of being ABLE to use it if you want to?

You can't beat a remote with physical buttons, that can be used by just one limb. :-)
