Hi, as my contract is coming up in 4 or 5 weeks.  Do I need to call them directly and give notice or do I just ring the new ISP up?  The lady on the phone just said 3 or 4 days would be nice and I asked if I had to give a formal 1 months notice she then said that would be better.  It seems that it's gone to Voda, I am still on my current TCL price plan, if I don't change the plan or get a new contract special, my plan willl be hiked up by $30 for the same data.  I also asked about Voda plans, but the lady said I can get the TCL plans?

The only problem is that if you call TCL and give notice and your new ISP doesn't connect you for any reason (bad service, no available port on cabinet if DSL, etc) then you are out of a connection.

Let the new ISP do it for you.

I would just let the new ISP organise it, unless you want the retentions department to see what they can offer first.

This thread shows how the billing cycle works regarding the final bill..
