timmmay: I called up yesterday and they said they'd put me onto the price on the website, with no contract. So that's handy, a $20/month saving.

Lucky you. I tried to do the same today, but without luck. Are you on the InHome cable network? The salesperson told me that some people who weren't on cable were eligible without entering a contract. Did you call any particular number?

Yes I'm on the cable network. I just called the regular number, but I was put through to the customer retention team. I wasn't changing plans, I just pointed out that the price online was lower and asked for it. They said yes. No tricks, maybe I just got lucky and got the right person.
