Hi guys,

I'm based in OZ, and represent a company in NZ. I'm trying to implement a Circuit Switched Data solution in NZ, similar to a system we have that's tried and true here. It talks to a data logging system.

I know CSD is a 'sunset' technology, however unfortunately due to the nature of the systems I'm trying to connect it's my only option (yes, I'd love to use packet switching but unfortunately it's out of the question currently).

My question is, is there anyone here that can recommend the best way to get in touch with a Vodafone NZ tech that actually knows what they're talking about?

Thus far I've managed to have a Vodafone account setup (as far as I'm aware they're the only ones still doing CSD), however the people that opened my account lied about being knowledgeable on CSD and simply contracted me with two broadband packages.

I've been transferred, hung up on etc, I just need to find someone that can help, that's not working for a purely sales focused call centre.

If not via the phone, is there possible a physical location I can go to to get this organised?

The store staff I've spoken to have been lovely, however admittedly clueless regarding what I'm after.

Thanks for any help/advice guys.

Yep I know all about CSD not many do these days as it's a dying thing, It's all packet switch these days

What baud rate do these CSD modems support? 9600 14.4

Postpay and prepay connections come default with baud rate up to 14.4 but not a incoming data terminating number which is what I think you are after. Am I correct?
