Hi there.

I bought a second hand blackberry online.

I'm looking at plans, for different providers, as I'm aware there is a seperate plan you need, to get all the features working.

What's Vodafone's plans/specials, for BIS?

Telecom's costs are through the roof, and it doesn't look like I'll be going with them, does Vodafone have anything good going?

Thanks

Don't know but it won't be a whole lot better than Telecom due to the BlackBerry tax.

I'm not sure why you bought a BlackBerry if paying for BIS/BES is an obstacle to you. They are god awful devices other than for email - the keyboards are great. I've been a BlackBerry user for four years and can't wait till our contract is up so we can get real smart phones

Original seller, said it was originally a Telecom one, however Telecom's Blackbery plans are exorbitant, so I've decided to stay with Vodafone.

Awesome

Why a Blackberry? What is your mail server setup?

The new BB10 devices can sync via ActiveSync rather than BIS/BES which could be an option, and are obviously also much newer devices.

Hiya

You can use your BlackBerry with pretty much any of the Vodafone plans (see website under phones-plans/plans/) and then there are a series of Add-Ons for BlackBerry that you can buy through your mobile. There's also a heap of info and links in the VF Community (search for "Blackberry Help").

Hope that helps.
