Just got an email from Vodafone offering me to be one of the first to sign up to Red Super:

- Unlimited talk and text
- 4GB data (includes 4G)

$129 per month

That's not bad considering that's about my bill each month anyway by the time I've added on data packs.

I can switch and stay within my existing term, and family members can be added from $99 a month for the same deal.

No you're right there's nothing on their site. The email said the offer was specific to my number.

Here's what the email looked like though:

The email suggests that it's going to be available to everyone though.

Vodafone Red has been there for a while now... the offer was special at $129 (to @corksta) instead of $170 advertised price.

The offer also appeared to have 2GB extra data as well, that for $129 is not too bad, but the offering at $170 with only 2GB of data isn't that great IMHO

Yah I called VF and they had no idea about it, was quite strange. I'd switch in a heartbeat.

Just received:

Vodafone New Zealand today unveils Vodafone Red, a simple, complete and worry-free smartphone package that encourages customers to use their smartphones the way they want – without worrying about the size of their bill.

With Vodafone Red, customers get unlimited calls and texts to standard numbers in New Zealand and Australia* and a generous data allowance. They can choose the smartphone they want, get the option to update their handset every year for a small extra fee – or opt to bring their own smartphone to get a better monthly price.

And customers can link additional devices and services to their plan. They can add a tablet, family members and broadband to receive monthly discounts and get even more value.
Russell Stanners, CEO of Vodafone New Zealand, says Vodafone Red represents a fundamental shift in the way Kiwis buy and use communications services.

“Vodafone Red gives customers a new level of control over the way they communicate. As well as being unique in market, it marks a strategically important change in the way we package our services.

“Our customers tell us that choosing a smartphone plan can be an overwhelming process. There’s too much information to absorb – and for many, this is a barrier to choosing a smartphone package.

“Customers want the freedom and flexibility to communicate the way they want to – unrestricted by their mobile phone plan. Vodafone Red gives customers what they want: it’s our ultimate smartphone package.”

Vodafone Red offers consumers and businesses one integrated service package with:

· Worry-free usage: endless talk and texts – to standard numbers in NZ and Australia
· Generous data allowances in every package with the flexibility to purchase more if you need to, and peace of mind that Data Angel will protect you from any surprises when you receive your bill
· NZ’s only 4G network included in all Vodafone Red packages, delivering faster speeds, great coverage and reliability, only on the Vodafone SuperNet™.
· Family package, allowing family members to sign up to a Vodafone Red package to get even more great value
· Multi-device plans, enabling customers to connect a smartphone and tablet under one Vodafone Red package and making it simple and cost effective to own and manage multiple devices
· The option to add Naked Broadband to your package to save $30 per month – or connect a Vodafone fixed broadband pack and get $10 off per month
· A wider range of device choices, giving customers the freedom to have a new device included in the cost of their contract, get a better monthly price by bringing their own device, or have the option to choose to receive a new device every year for a small extra monthly fee
· More safe and secure solutions, with services and apps including Data Angel, Vodafone Guardian, Blacklist and DriveSafe, to keep you, your family and your content safe
· Expert support when you get your new smartphone – Vodafone Ninjas will ensure you leave the store set up and working
Matt Williams, who introduced Vodafone Red in 15 other markets across the globe, has recently returned to Vodafone NZ as Consumer Director. He says customers around the world are seeing the benefits of Vodafone Red.

“There are more than 5 million Vodafone customers around the world who are enjoying Vodafone Red and the way it helps them lead a truly connected life, whether via their smartphone or tablet. As early adopters and strong users of technology, we believe Kiwis will love it too.”

Anyone know if these can be slotted into a business group calling group? Our current plans allow us to call as much as we like between all our mobiles and office landline numbers?

Hi,
Our sales department would be the best point of contact for this query, it all depends on what plan the business is on. You can contact them or provide me your details to get them to call you.
Thanks.
