AidanS: Damn, I'm guessing that puts me out of reach for VDSL then.

Thanks for your replies!

EDIT: Line stats are "OK" for VDSL according to John in PM.

-Aidan.

Hi,

Our Huawei equipment is VDSL capable!
Unfortunately Vodafone doesnt offer VDSL. Your attenuation is a bit high for a stable VDSL connection from what you posted. Would be worth installing a master splitter and maybe rewire your jack points.

Thanks.

AidanS: Ohhh, that makes sense! Thanks for that (also just a note there's a space at the end of your link that makes it 404, but I got the right page).

I'm about 2-3 houses out of the zone, though I think being in the red network (having better line stats) will help. I'll just need to wait and see what Vodafone release with their VDSL plans.

Thanks,
Aidan

Line stats won't vary between Wholesale and the Red network. Your sync rate may be slightly higher though due to Vodafone running a lower SNR.

If you can't get VDSL2 with Chorus then I doubt you'll get in on Vodafone. I highly doubt Chorus will allow Vodafone to use deploy ULL VDSL2+ at a greater than their own 10.8dB attenuation figure for the same reasons they don't - crosstalk.
