As per the title I am having trouble trying to connect my SPA 303 to WXC's Open VFX. The device returns 404 under the registration state field, I have already DMZ Hosting as well as opening port 5060 on UDP and TCP. However I tried these settings in my router and it is able to register and provide service for analogue phones (which we do not have available). Any ideas on how I can diagnose/fix this issue?

I guess the most obvious question is whether you're using the correct details.

Port forwarding port 5060 or putting the phone on a DMZ is a massive security risk so should be avoided at all costs.

I appear to be using the correct details as the router has been able to connect fine unlike the SPA 303

Probably the SBC caching your old entry when you're changing devices.

Hi disconsented,

It appears you have changed phone numbers a couple of weeks ago and you are still trying to register with the old phone number which is why you are getting the 404's. Would you like me to re-send you the email with the new authentication information ?

Andrei.

Edit: I just resent you the email with the auth info as I don't believe you received the last one after your number ported.
