A telco customer of WxC (a small ISP reselling WxC VoIP services) has been providing a new customer of ours VoIP services for sometime.

This customer is wanting to port their number to us.

We've submitted a port using the details the small ISP told our new customer and we've found out that:

1) Small ISP doesn't own the number, WxC does
2) According to WxC, the number is on a "retail" account not a "wholesale" one

The problem is WxC is rejecting the port request because we don't have the correct account details this number is on.

Wondering if someone from WxC may be able to help me?

Hmm, double check the number first, failing that I can give you the contact details for their NOC - shoot a PM my way.

You are more than welcome to send me a PM with the details that you have and I can take a look and advise what needs to be done.

If it's a WXC customer then we do need the account details to match, if it's a customer with a wholesaler then we will usually validate the details with the wholesale customer when the port request comes through or the gaining provider contacts us with the details.

Thanks,

Wendy
