Hi Rokki,

I have checked with some of the guys here about that and they have confirmed currently you cant get 5.1 Audio over HDMI with the Vodafone TV or "T-Box". However you can obtain 5.1 surround sound over the SPDIF or Optical audio plug as shown on the back.

Hope this helps.

Tim.

Hi Tim cheers for that unfortunately can't reassign a S/PDIF input on my receiver all used up with damn legacy devices. To be fair HDMI was meant to be the one lead that rules them all :)

Sounds like you got a complicated setup there!
No adapters or anything alike you could obtain to aid this?

One of them works so you can get this service over UFB..
I will furtherly add that the image is taken from when Telstra Clear was only supplying that over cable. That diagram is fairly inaccurate.

Yeah, It would be pretty cool. But then again its a Pay TV or Freeview digital receiver not a home theater system to rule their movie and pay to view services pointless due to allowing an external source to play over it.

I decided to get up early this morning and have rewired my Reciever and have got all my toys and things working by freeing up a port. :) Many thanks to TimA as well for all his assistance.
