So about 3 years ago I signed up to a Telstra package with internet, phone and a Freeview t-box.

Then just under 2 years ago I moved house, staying on the same deal  (Cable internet, if that counts for anything).

Apart from this the only other thing I've done was upgrade my data cap from 40g-60g but at the time I was assured that wouldn't change my contract.

Coming to the present I've switched ISP because the bandwidth just wasn't enough.

In my final bill It says:

"Freeview T-box 24 month contract -ETC     $399"

"Waive Freeview t-box ETC Discount          -$200"

Leaving me with $199 owed.

I am concerned that they are claiming I broke contract here? Though the -$200 waived confuses me on that one.

I've not had the best dealings in the past with Vodafones customer service, after all the hoops i had to jump just to disconnect and return the gear to them,
so I figured I'd seek advice here before I wait an hour on the phone to speak to them about it.
