I PMed Mike to assist me with my issues, but he was away at the time, and said he would get back to me. I contacted him again a week or so later for an update, and am yet to hear a reply to this second email.

Hi Splammle,

Sorry to hear that - I'll have a word with Mike & see where it's at.

I was wondering if you might be able to explain why you think the Fibre connection itself is not good, too?

I don't think I said that I thought the fibre connection itself was bad, neither do I think it is bad. I do however have some minor issues with the service in general, i.e: Vodafone TV / MySki, phone line buzzing etc.

Splammle:
l43a2: so is the fiber product any good?

No.

So, the fibre is good?

(I am looking in to vodafone for fibre.)

As of the experiences of others I have seen with fibre, it isn't too bad of an investment. I wouldn't base your choice off of my experiences, as I believe that the crash between my sign up time and the introduction of Vodafone fibre mean I just had issues bound to pop up. However, with that said, Vodafone seemed to have ironed out most of the kinks in the service as of now, so if you can get fibre, I'd say go for it!

We switched from Telecom fibre to Vodafone fibre about 3 months ago. Telecom fibre was great and Vodafone fibre is even better. But I agree that Vodafone's billing system and call centres are awful.
