I have seen an instance of Vodafone charging for both the new $5 daily roaming charge and the calls/txts at the old pricing for the same time period. I suggest that you check your invoice carefully if you have used roaming towards the end of May or in June.

Where did you visit? There was a known issue in Hawaii (I arrived there the day after $5 roaming launched)

Would help us if you provided more INFO, The issue with Hawaii is fixed and credits are applied on the DOM (Bill cycle date)

It affected 2 users on our account and they were both roaming in Australia.

Can you DM me the impacted mobile numbers and what was the actual issue, I take it the connections were on plans that are eligible for the $5 a day roaming?

How does that $5 deal work?
It's per day?
If you send just one txt you still get charged $5 for that day, or do you just get charged up to a max of $5?
And what if you didnt use your phone all day, is it still $5 just for being overseas?




Life is too short to remove USB safely.

If you don't use your phone you pay nothing.

If you send a single TXT or make a call you'll pay $5 for this, however for the first few weeks this was not charged.

The system is vastly superior to Telecom's roaming, if you're travelling to one of the supported countries I don't know why you'd roam with Telecom.
