Yep, it's pretty much official that we'll be launching the iPhone 6 on the 26th of September. Save the date!

Nothing has been announced yet (based on their website) but Vodafone does now offer 12 months interest free on mobile phones.

I'd assume they don't want to start selling until they've got a guaranteed number they can work from - being a smaller country with less clout I have a feeling we'll probably be playing second fiddle to the bigger countries for supply. Personally I'm going to hold off till 8.0.1 of iOS is released as to avoid the x.0 blues.

Geektastic: On the London Daily Telegraph the tech reporter Harry Wallop made a mockup of the 6 Plus from plywood and took it out on the street to see what people thought of it. It's fun watching the video of them trying to get it in pockets and handbags!

I still want the big one but I think it was wise to make two sizes.


I made a paper mock up of each and I am now debating if I can live with a phone as big as the plus.
