Why would you want to?

If you want to block your number why would you just not use the proper GSM codes or phone functionality?

What about if I set it up in the best mates numbers with the full number including the 0197 prefix
I presume that would work ?

I'm clearly missing something here because don't understand why you'd block your number, the other person clearly knows who is calling.

Well actually no it is not weird and creepy as you put it.
I just do not want the other person to know my home phone number.

But thanks for judging me.
It can not be done i have just tried it myself.
Appreciate the help though.

Not sure if it will impact charging might pay to call usage charges later on to that number
