Sideface:
Presso: Oh dear , I see fair go tonight mentioning Vodafone and showing a call wait time of 2 hours and 18 minutes. Not very good press at all.

The sequel: on Fair Go tonight (01 April)

Fair Go reported a wait time of 5 hours plus!
To quote the Fair Go caption: "Vodafone service is cr@p"
Vodafone responded that they answer 80% of calls within 10 minutes. undecided

On the other side of the coin, I recently phoned VF at 7am and was answered within 2 seconds. smile

kinda a funny watch.

unrelated, but a tad annoying that tvnz forces the flash objects over http, if you connect with https it wont load.

johnr: I called the other day from my Prepay test number 0800getihug around 11am and it was answered straight away, I was expecting a to wait sometime on hold so was pleasantly surprised

Was that a call to get a new service, or about an existing service? New connections are usually pretty quick ( surprise surprise) but we have all experienced VF's ( and other companies) poor performace on service for existing customers.

Rang Vodafone the other night, quite late probably close to 12am. Was answered after about 5 minutes which I thought was quite surpassing after seeing all these posts.
This was for the Mobile Broadband team so maybe they aren't as busy but as soon as the lovely lady answered she apologised for the delays so you know she probably gets an earful at the start of every call.

I moved into a new flat with an existing vdsl connection. Called up to cancel  that login on the 31st and got through in under 5 minutes. The cancellation took 2-3 minutes. It would have been sometime before lunch. To be fair working at VF I did know better than to call between 5 and 7pm.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.
