Right now, Netflix is stuck on 240p resolution, pretty much un-watchable.

Connection spontaneously died just before 12:30 am. It's back up now, but Netflix remains inaccessible.

Using this connection is probably the single most stressful thing in my day-to-day life. :( (though I suppose I'm fortunate if I'm able to say that)

EDIT

And now it's back after waiting a couple more minutes.

Just to say that I had the same lack of response from google search at the same time (just before 12.30am). I'm also on Vodafone cable, so it definitely sounds more like a network problem than a site-specific one - had to resort to bing to find this thread :)

Something broke momentarily. For a couple of minutes, a large number of sites (most notably Netflix) were suddenly inaccessible. Geekzone was loading just fine, but I was not able to log in.

Everything seems to be back now, though.

This problem is quite bad today. One of my flatmates was complaining that they were unable to access Twitch for ~10 minutes, and a large portion of YouTube videos are taking a couple of minutes to begin initial playback.

Theses days Netflix does not get any higher than 720p for me, even though I get a constant 100mb down. Plugged into the modem. Man I miss fiber, why did I have to move house :( Everything worked so well on fiber, had it for a year, and after a couple teething issues it worked flawlessly the rest of the time. Now I have a wife who nags me everyday about websites not loading, Netflix buffering and the Wifi disconnecting. Every. Single. Day. Thanks Vodafone, your ruining my marriage.

Running into all kinds of oddball connectivity issues tonight. Not even sure where to begin. Stuff is just all-around broken. One of the worse nights in a while. Lines up nicely with the sub-10 Mbps speeds that I posted in the congestion thread too.

This connection just gets worse with time. :\

Sites that I've had or am having difficulty with on Vodafone this evening:

Wikipedia

Geekzone

Twitter

Stuff.co.nz

Slack

Dolphin Emulator forums

Phoronix

Battle.net

etc. etc.

It's horribly broken. More broken than it's ever been before. Heck, half-way through writing this post, something connected to Geekzone and jumbled the formatting of this post. The page took ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-EIGHT SECONDS TO LOAD.

My friends are incredibly keen on finding a new flat, and if I'm lucky, I may be able to switch to another provider in a month's time. Unbelievable that this has gone unchecked for so long.

Fortunately, in the meantime, TDR's been an incredible help, and they've helped us reach a really good deal. Anyone else that's had official dealings with Vodafone but continue to have issues, please look into TDR. The person that I communicated with was a wonderful listener and really invested himself into learning about Vodafone's problems, particularly in the Island Bay region.

Netflix is terrible. Speed test is showing full 100mb/10mb, yet the highest I can achieve is 720p for short periods of time before it's drops too 480p. While typing this I just dropped again. I'm plugged directly into the modem using a xbox one.

It's bad on youtube this morning.

Progressively worse since 9AM through to now.

I did log a ticket with Voda. The tech on the phone was helpful and I gave them as much info as possible. They escalated the issue, and that team closed the ticket as fast as they could with a "Not Vodafone's Problem" message.
