I'm currently online via my R216 WiFi device. It works quite well considering there isn't even enough reception here to make or receive calls and texts. While I was fiddling about with it I noticed it has a port (2 holes) for an antenna. Does Vodafone sell these or are they more of a 3rd party kind of thing?

Life is too short to remove USB safely.

Looks like this is the kind of thing you need:

You'll need two of these, as well as two 3G/4G antennas.

I've got one of these, but my modem has TS-9 connectors.

You might need to look at one (or two) that support(s) the 700MHz range if you're in band28 country, like this
