Hey Vodafone broadband customers (and Vodafone support people who are still active here...)

I have an issue with getting to one of my web domain - http://chiefie.geek.nz - on Cable broadband.

If I use ISUP to check (http://isup.me/chiefie.geek.nz) then it's working fine and reported it's just me.

If I use cellular connection (Vodafone mobile) then it is working.

So clearly something isn't right with Vodafone DNS servers.

So can any of you - especially non-Vodafone broadband users - to test to see whether you can get to my domain?

Disclaimer: There is absolutely nothing on that domain, you should see a text say the domain is parked.

Many thanks in advance.

I get the same from Spark ADSL.

Here is the DNS lookup result from here if you're interested.

Thanks guys.

As suspected... my work is connected via Vodafone broadband as I can't seem to get to it... and just fine on cellular...

So I am hoping someone in Vodafone can actually poke their NOC to see what the fuck is up with their DNS servers...

Confirm DNS lookup fails from Vodafone cable (Kapiti), works fine from Spark UFB (ChCh) and Snap provided corporate fibre (ChCh)

Intermittently unable to access pages that every other ISP has no problem with? Must be on Vodafone cable.

FWIW - Our users on VF cable have been having difficulties connecting to our VPN over the past week, people on Spark or Bigpipe have no issues whatsoever. May be related?

May perhaps so, if the VPN is trying to connect via DNS instead of IPs directly?
