I had a similar issue a few years back. Here's the thread:

After remote monitoring by Vodafone to diagnose the issue, I think it turned out to be a problem with the firmware. It was eventually resolved via an update from their vendor.

Are firmware upgrades done automatically over the interwebs by VF or does the customer have to do something themselves?

Firmware is updated automatically. To clarify my post above, a bug fix for the issue was rolled into a firmware update, and the process took a number of months.

Hi everyone,

Vodafone Business got onto this issue and did some investigation. When I unplugged the SureSignal for an extended period of time it forced a firmware update. Things now seem to be running smoothly. Thanks all for your help.

Cheers, Matt

Hooray! I quite like my Suresignal, without it, my phone is just an expensive paperweight around the house.
