Linux: @Nismo214 Over ethernet or Wi-Fi?

Do you know some simple fix to address the low Ethernet throughput?

I recently moved house and was switched from Fibre to VDSL due to availability at the new residence. I have an Ultra Hub and the VDSL connection drops constantly. In the last 4 hours it has dropped 34 times. I have been back and forth with Vodafone who got a Chorus tech out and they apparently fixed a line fault, after which the issue was still occurring. On Friday I had a Chorus tech come into the house to check the wiring and he suggested trying another modem as the lines are fine. I dug up an old HG659 and it worked perfectly for over a day without any disconnections and a much higher VDSL rate. Today I rang Vodafone to let them know and they told me I had to plug the Ultra Hub back in and they would monitor it for 24hrs. They also said the firmware version was fine, it is 17.1.7875-2461002-CRF731 which I believe is an older firmware.
