I have a current Red+ Lite plan with a $10 discount. My billing just rolled over and I only have 4GB still, not 10GB.

I tried calling customer "service" and after waiting 10 minutes the girl on the other end said the 10GB was a special promotion and I would need go through to sales.

She apparently transferred me but I was given a message saying I couldn't be transferred (after another 5 minute wait) and disconnected.

@BLazeD The 10GB plan is not a promotion and is permanent as confirmed by VodafoneNZ here on Geekzone

Any discounts you have on the 4GB plan will be removed moving to 10GB I was lucky got in early and get it for $49.95 per month

Linux

Thanks I just called 0800 777 301 and said I wanted to get my extra data and it was done in 1 minute flat. I kept my $10 discount.

Very happy with this. Good job Vodafone.

They flat out refused to do that for me. :(

To be fair my $10 discount was not mentioned by either me or them. But I would be shocked on my next bill if it was taken off.

Sorry I don't get it. If they are not promotional then why does the small print on this page say

"Promotional plans available for a limited time. New data allowances are valid for the life of the plan."

My billing period just rolled over a few days ago.

My data cap remains at 7.5GB and has not increased at all.

@kiwifidget Call 0800 777 301 and if not under contract term they will change the plan straight away (if you are not under contract)

Spark (not skinny) need to counter this, 40gb for $150... that is cheap, Spark’s Business plan is $250 ex gst for 20gb.

I wander if they will bring out Carry Over for On Account sometime within the next 12 months, because all other providers have it now....

Prices above are in term with discount, below is open term, slight drop in price

these prices and plans are bordering on fixed solution alternatives... not exactly a bridge i wanna fight on...
