I have been having an intermittent problem with my DISPLAY SETTINGS. I have been back to Noel Leemings twice with the Vodafone Smart Turbo 7 phone without being able to remedy the problem. In the SETTINGS, I set the display brightness to full and the display timeout to 2 minutes and sometimes these settings are retained and continue after the phone has been switched off and back on. However, on a purely random basis, these settings will revert to a 15 second timeout and to a low display brightness setting. It is quite frustrating as often I am unable to see the screen in daylight.

Thanks for your response. My delay in replying is due to the situation where I live.

I do not have a landline or mobile coverage where I live and only switch the phone on once or twice a week when I travel to town.

I checked the settings and couldn't find a battery-saving app or setting, but as the phone was defaulting to the 2 minute delay and the 100% brightness after each time it had been switched off, I thought all was OK. However, when I switched it on today, it was back to a 15sec/low brightness setting.

Bummer.
