Is Xnet Fusion over Fibre available anywhere in AKL or just CBD area?

I'm on the yellow area - would I be able to get Fibre?

Thanks for the map manhinli.

I'm on the green area, does that mean my Naked DSL / Fusion is served through Fibre? Or does it also depend on whether Xnet has this option enabled for my particular connection?

Kenshiro: Thanks for the map manhinli.

Naked DSL is wholesaled by Telecom over copper lines - your connection to the exchange is via copper wires not fibre.

If you happened to be on fibre with WxC you would have to be in one of a small handful of very very lucky brand new subdivisions (one in Papatoetoe, one in Orewa, . . . ) in Auckland and you would have a magic box in your garage or nearby that contains the smarts for your end of the system.

The starting price for Vector Fibre is approx $600 per month for 1Mbps connection. Plus install - approx $500, plus Internet data usage. Also, this applies to an already lite up building, so if your not in the green zone, then could well cost more.

This is different to the FTTH product mentioned on Xnet's website. This product is the one available in only select new subdivisions.

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, data cabling and general computer support for home and small business.
