Hi everyone:

I'm wondering whether if anyone here knows an ETA for torrent plan support in the FF usagemeter?

I use mainly Mac OSX andhave to rely on the FF usagemeter to provide accurate details on my usage, but it appears the FF usagemeter is not torrent-paln "compatible" yet - that is according to what i'm seeing on my FF usagemeter and to this thread http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=65&TopicId=22602&page_no=2. Any suggestion from people using Mac OSX on how to accurately grab your torrent plan usage?

Also, Maverick mentioned earlier possible support for a desktop Mac/Linux usagemeter.  Again any ideas (hints, romuros etc) on the ETA..?

Thanks.

As i have said on another thread, I have a macbook pro and I wrote a php script for fetching your data from the xnet servers and putting it on a webpage. If you have access to a webserver that has php enabled (most do) then PM me and I can send you a copy

I should say, I had the script emailed through to me and it works brilliantly.

[shamless plug]

I've been developing a widget for Xnet connections and Mac OS X users for the past couple of weeks and would love some input! I just posted some info on my blog about it and thought it might interest some of you ;)

I've only been able to test it out on my torrent connection but am 90% sure it will work on all plan types (at most datacap wont work correctly)

Jon gave us a sneak preview and we took a look at this and think it's a really nice piece of work, we are doing something ourselves that will be out shortly but Jon has done a nice interface here.

Thanks for making this available to users Jon I'm sure a lot will like it and appreciate the effort you put into making this.

Looks good doesn't it Cool

Oh well, obviously thanks to Jon, but thanks also to Xnet in general for providing such a great service! :)

Yeah, cheers for that Jon. It's certainly a lot prettier than my one!

We should have the updated Firefox monitor and our own OSX monitor out in the very near future (the reason it's taken so long is that we heavily refactored the Firefox one so we could share most of the codebase between it and the OSX monitor).

Woot ^_^

I haven't done any work towards a Vista one, but if Vista's gadgets are just Javascript too, then yeah, I guess so (eventually!) :p.
