Yep, that's the store I was at. I went in at 5pm to start the credit check process (I was signing up a business, which apparently takes a lot longer). My credit check didn't come back for about 5 hours. It was stressful, but it was OK in the end.

I did have to sign Apple's agreement.

In my swag bag was Continental pasta, Cadbury Chocolate, deoderant from Lynx, Rexona and Impulse, chewing gum... all sorts of random stuff.

I'm eyeing up the 3G dock that's on the Apple NZ site.... pretty fair at $45.... for Apple.

 

$45 but it doesn't have the ability to control it via the apple remote. Also does it have tv out.

@Torque - no, I went to the little one 5 doors down, as the main store had sold out of 16gb's.

Are you sure that one is owned by Vodafone? A lot of Vodafone branded stores belong to other franchises.

I think the one Grim went to is either First Mobile or Digital Shop. The actual Vodafone (as in, owned by VF?) store is next to Dymocks, up the far western end of the 'Quay.

I actually have no idea who owns the store.

It has a huge red Vodafone sign above it, I was directed there by the other Vodafone store (because they had run out of 16gb) and the manager I had the, ahem, discussion with had Vodafone on her card. I guess it could be owned by another company - if so I'll alter my original post accordingly.

Update: A Vodafone representative just called me to let me know that they're looking into things - will be Monday now though I guess before anything is sorted. Props to VF for getting in touch regardless - its great that they're in touch with Geekzone.
