I used to be with XNet as well (for ADSL only - back in 2007, before VDSL was widely available). I found them to be really good, but was disappointed when they were sold to Vodafone. I had already left them by this point though.

Hi All

Just an update, I spoke with WorldExchange / Vodafone Next Generation and they fessed up to throttling VDSL connections at 50/20.

Needless to say, I have switched providers to twodegrees.  Change over happened today.  Download speed jumped from 49Mb -> 111Mb, Upload improved from 19Mb -> 27Mb

If you are on Vodafone VDSL and live close to the cabinet, I suggest switching ISPs to get more speed.  This specifically applies to Vodafone Next Generation, but may well apply to all of Vodafone.

Cheers for all your feedback

Chris...
