Hi

I have no issue with quality calling NZ numbers, and have no issue making or receiving calls on VFX, everything works
great overall.

does any one else call Philippines, and find the call quality is quite poor?

Ive called the UK a couple times, the quality is fine there

The destination in the phillipines (mostly landlines) always complain the volume is very low, and we hear quite a bit of static.

If i call them via Telecom or iTalk there is no quality issues

and yes I logged a issue with the helpdesk, but was curious if its just me

WAG200 + SPA2101. Orcon FS/FS.

Same here, but I make international calls to Malaysia. Both landline and mobile.

Local NZ calls are perfect. But my calls to Malaysia are just horrible. Most of the time, it doesn't even connect! Especially during late night hours. I've logged several complaints but the situation's still the same.

I've noticed several other VFX threads but I assuming those are local NZ call issues. Haven't spotted any international complaints here until now.

Any Xnet rep care to clarify on this issue? Would really love this issue to be resolved. Making international calls cheaply was the main reason why i switched to VFX in the first place.

For any issues directly related to calling destinations it is best to log a fault with our helpdesk, they should be able to get things under investigation for you.

I've already personally logged a fault with the helpdesk. More than once and the last, almost a month ago now. But not much has been done as I have explained above.

What happens now then?

Well, havent had any feedback from XNET, tried calling the philiipines again, very disappointing quality still.
