Since Vodafone "upgraded" live I've be unabl;e to load Sky Tv mobile - I keep getting purchase failed - saying "You either have no credit and need to top up or we're experiencing tehcnial isues - you haven't been charged" - I have heaps of credit so bugger knows!

Anyone else getting this?

Not a similar issue but I know a few months back, I was having problem stopping my SKY subscription. Had to keep ringing up Cust Serv to try stop it manually every week, and then check the following week to see if it was stopped (repeat cycle). The option through My Subscription wouldn't work as the page request kept timing out, and the CSR had the same luck. It kept charging me $2.50 or whatever it is for about a month and half before one of the IT team finally stopped it manually on their side.

I know, not a big help - but give them a call (while you still can without paying). Not too sure how this $1 per call thing is gonna pan out if their self-service portals don't work properly in the first place (would've ended up payin $6 extra for the calls just to stop the service)..

I think my outdated sim may be the issue, strange it only happens now though.

Yep, this sounds familiar.   Had the same problem getting rid of of Sky Mobile TV from my Nokia 6234.   Several calls to
Cairo call centre before I was quit of the service.   Lucky it was a few months ago.   Now they would charge me $1 for every
call I guess...

PottsyNZ: I think my outdated sim may be the issue, strange it only happens now though.

No way it will be SIM related

Have you cleared the cache on the handset? and have you tried SIM in another handset?

Basic fault checking but forget about the SIM

It could well be the sim card, are you using one of the older 2G cards or one of the new (required) 3G data simcards?

2G, doesn't say 3g on it - but it used to work, which is odd.
