My caller ID has been fixed before when I was using the temporary VFX number  but since my telecom phone number ported to VFX yesterday(28/07/2008) and after  Xnet help desk asked me to reset the Linksys modem, the phone is working but the caller ID is not.

The problem is when someone call me,the caller display ID is 009XXX XXXX(from landline) and 00021xxx xxx x(from a mobile)

Could someone who working at Xnet help me to remove the extra "00" so my caller dispay can work correctly.

I have called the helps desk and tell them to fix, after wating on the phone for few mins,he said it should work now but I tried it later it not fixed at all.

Note: Caller ID is presented as 0+NSN to all Lines ,

in your case we are specially stripping the 0 from your the caller ID as your phone is automatically adding a 0, ihe fix was done on your VFX number and this was changed to the ported number now...if this dosn't work we can not keep reconfiguring this for one individual phone that adds a 0, you may have to find a phone that allows you to do it.

Yes I am a employee of WxC (My Profile) ... but I do have my own opinions as well Wink
