Thank you, with the Sky Channels I'm finding it a lot better then the MySky box.
Watch any movie on in last 3 days and if same program on in future offers record option for better flexibility.
Received our new Vodafone TV last week, and initial usage from myself, wife and the kids shows the device and UI is pretty good.
So far ticked most of the boxes.
One initial feature request that would make navigation easier, is to allow configuring the order of 'Apps'.
e.g. rearrange the Apps so our 4 preferred Apps are listed on at the top on main menu screen (instead of the default order: Netflix, Prime Video, NEON, tvnz)
Our preferred order would be: Neon, Youtube Kids, Prime Video, tvnz. (we don't use Netflix, so would move it down the list)
Other users would have different preferences.
Would this technically be easy to implement, as essentially its an HTML5 screen, moving tiles around?
Just add a settings menu option for 'Apps Order', ability to move apps up/down list.
Thanks
Maybe the box could move the tiles based on the users most used apps?

When checking just now to see whether we have the latest update, I noticed the settings page ‘VTV Intelligent Mode Consent’.
On the first ‘Notice’ page, I see “Agreed” and green tick mark.
On the second ‘Consent’ page, I have it set to “Not Agreed”.
When I go back to the Notice page, it still says “Agreed”.
Anyone know what is going on here?
After seeing my above post last week, Vodafone contacted me by PM then advised they had ‘reset my account - which should fix it’.
It didn’t - nothing changed - and when I reported this back to them and asked ‘what next?’, I received no further response.
The ‘Notice’ page is where Vodafone say: “Vodafone is committed to protecting your personal info”. Then “... first we need your permission to do this” i.e. permission to collect data about my usage. I don’t want to, and haven’t, agreed to this but I can’t turn it off. It’s stuck on ‘Agreed’.
Is ‘Agreed’ the default setting? If so, that’s not good.
Surely I’m not the only one to see this. Has anyone successfully changed this setting to ‘not agreed’?
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
Why is the Maori TV Freeview app not included on Vodafone TV?

That would be up to Maori TV to port their app over to the Vodafonetv device and arrange an access agreement
Hi Hamish, I am referring to the Maori TV On-Demand app that does not appear to be on Vodafone TV, but is on other platforms, like the Dish TV Freeview Plus recorders. For example there is an on-demand (only) series called "Intake" that the Maori TV on-demand app offers, but it is not available on Vodafone TV because with respect to free apps (not paid subs) you don't appear to have the Maori TV On Demand app, only the TV1 and TV3 apps. Is that correct?
I've only had Vodafone TV a few days and I am very impressed by it, and your willingness to answer queries on this forum is outstanding, I've learnt a lot already. Thank you.

Just a short shout here for VF NZ. I installed a VF TV for an elderly relative recently and thought that functionality and value for money was excellent.
There were a few minor niggles, like no easy information on how to hide Sky channels and linking VF remote to power on TV, but overall I thought this a great little product.
And great to see VF @sansom on GZ supporting the product.

Hi Hamish - hope you've been keeping well.
I have feedback from a family member that when watching The Chase on Vodafone TV the subtitles appear over the display of the answers on screen. Apparently on Freeview the subtitles are positioned to not obscure the display of the answers on screen.
Cheers
Dylan
Hi Dylan, yes thanks. We're investigating.

@gustov You need to tag Hamish in this way @sansom
Hi @gustgov, thanks for the info on what you'd like to see. Another option we could explore with Maori TV is to ingest that on-demand only content into a rail in the On Demand section on VTV (so no app port required).
@apsattv, we don't need to arrange an access agreement for new HTML5 apps as such, but we do need to work with the app developer to test that their implementation of the adaptations to support the VTV browser, remote control and player performs well. So there is investment required to make it happen.
@linux, yes thanks, although I usually check in on this forum every day or two.... last week was a bit crazy so wasn't able to spend much time on GZ till this morning!

Hi @eracode, sorry for the delay in responding. We are investigating, but not as a high priority because Intelligent Mode is not an operating feature. This consent setting currently has no effect and is not required. However, what you have identified is that we won't be able to rely on the current setting and will have to assume it's not agreed and contact all users for their permission before turning on Intelligent mode when it arrives. You will be pleased to know that we have been able to replicate the issue that you've found, and so have what we need to resolve this when we get to it. Thanks!
