@sansom

My experience over the weekend was much better. The pauses that I noticed, were both on Channel 55 Saturday at about 15:40, and Sunday at about 17:10.

Seems everytime I rewind and start watching smomthing I've missed the start of that it chops the last few minutes off the program. Then I ned to try find the following program and start that from the beginning to watch the end of the previous show. It annoys the hell out of me.

Is there a solution for this problem.  posted on the vodafone forums recently but it seems no one from VF is there any more.

Not the same, but sounds like there could be similarities to the rewind failure issue that seems to have been around forever. Solution for that is to use the 20second buttons. Perhaps 20 seconds forward might find the end. (On reflection, it might not too.)

For those who have not seen it elsewhere, the rewind failure has been reported here a few times. For us we have only noticed it while watching our daily recording of Three News at 6. If we push the RWE or FFW buttons at any point past the first ads, it goes back to the news immediately after the first ads. 20 seconds buttons work fine. Very annoying if you miss the start of the weather and accidently push REW instead of 20 seconds back!

Not sure whether I should start a new post for this but as per an email my parents received from vodafone, they are stopping sky satellite billing through vodafone and offering 2 options: switch to Vodafone tv or switch sky billing back to sky. Just after opinions on the vodafone tv experience? Reading a few pages it still seems like it is less than perfect?
FAQ regarding the switch here https://www.vodafone.co.nz/help/vodafone-tv/vodafone-tv-switching/?mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiTnpreFlUbGhZemN5TURoayIsInQiOiJJcDJ6d0VHQVFLeW5xZU40TlkxY0lqMk0xbkRCUCs1a3VaQW1WaWxZNFN2XC9FcStHRFEzSjVycm5UMDdtS1Q0UXJ1d1FLNFNcL1pYbExWNUc0RFpkXC9rczVMWEE3VXNQd2ZFODFzTEVVcVZZK0t3ZFE4cksrZ3NmT1Q4ZjY1M3YyXC8ifQ%3D%3D

Watching grand designs just now, lots of annoying pauses every 5-10 minutes, then picture comes back eventually after a screech in the audio.

This has worked perfectly for me since day one of VFTV, until the last few weeks, nothing has changed at my end. One would think Vodafone would know what they have changed at their end, wouldn't you? Thank god for my old T2200

Worse tonight, Grand Designs and The Knick both substandard, at least confirmed that problem is with CDN.

Wait, am I reading this right or do Vodafone broadband subscribers get SoHo for free? I don't watch anything on SoHo, but that would make that a more enticing deal then buying the subscription on it's own I'd imagine?

I believe it follows the same as sky, that is if you have to buy starter + sport or starter + entertainment to get SOHO for free.

Interestingly I only had one very minor graphical glitch for less than a second when watching Grand Designs - temperatures on 3 weather are jerky though.

Gen 2 - ethernet cabled and on a vodafone 1 gig plan - Tauranga so on the UFF network

Strange the Leader's Debate can't be recorded. I hope catch-up works as I am not sure I will be home by then.

I pay for Sky + entertainment via Vodafone tv and definitely don’t get SOHO for free.
