Yep, Chorus won't touch Vodafone's cable network, completely wrong that they told you that. Especially if you made it clear to the rep that you were referring to cable, not copper.

I told them multiple times and made it clear the it was vodafone cable, ''the old hfc cable''. Not fibre cable, but they basically insisted that it was chorus or local fibre company and to ring them '' or '' an '' Electrician to take off the house

 

I said i'm not ringing any of them and stood my ground, I also said i'm not touching the E.T.P under any circumstances

 

 

 

Have Pm a Vodafone rep, hopefully all goes well it will be removed

Okay, in that case their "new improved" call centre has no idea what they're doing. Even when I worked at TCL, they would never recommend getting an electrician to move/remove any cable equipment.

Sorry I haven't done the premises cable course yet, if I had I would help just to get the experience.
