Hey. I am on Xnet and lately have been having troubles with torrent speeds. I seem to be getting stuck at 12 kbp/s and sometimes it dips as low as 0.5 kbp/s. I have plenty of seeds and port is forwarded. I also checked my speeds on and they were fine. So if anyone knows what's going on, help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry bout your lack of speed... i run torrents all the time and my speed seems to be sweet - in the range of 80k - 550k per second. I live in the wellington area also.

Have you tried opening your ports?

Go to if you don't know how to open them.

I wrotein my first post that I had forwarded the port that I am using for Utorrent. I used the port checker and it found that the port was open.

What client are you using? uTorrent is probably the best client to use.. It will tell you if there are any problems with the connection
