CYaBro: Yup Vodafone PhoneInsure is worth it.
A couple of years ago I had got a Nokia N73 on a 24 month contract.
I paid $400 for the phone I think but the phone on no contract was over $1000.
About a month after having it I went for a swim one night and forgot that it was in my pocket!
Phone replaced by Vodafone and only had to pay $150 excess not $1000!
My contents insurance wouldn't cover it. Even if they did the excess would have been $250.
Because I had damaged the phone at a friends house they said that my friend would have to claim it on their insurance????

Phone would not have been replaced by Vodafone but the under writer

Yea but you know what I mean.

CYaBro: Hmm... thanks for that.
Looks like I need to change insurance companies!

I am an AA member and do have our car insurance with them but may look at moving everything to them now.

funnily enough I have my car insurance with AMI, not AA.  I reckon that I get a better deal on car insurance with AMI and on contents with AA. :)
