DaveyBoy:
I dont think either me or the guys at vodafone forum will lose any sleep over it.

Except maybe that "Grant" fellow.  Good lord John, you ban this fellow and let "Grant" off scott free?  I'd have banned him permanently by now the way he treats other posters and staff.  I'm sorry to say, the Vodafone forums look like officially the most hostile and uninviting place I've ever laid eyes upon.  Demons, I suggest you guys do some "cleaning up".

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

freitasm: Oh I see. You have been using bad words in that discussion.

So the suspension was justified. Here on Geekzone it would be a permanent ban. So you're lucky the guys only suspended your account there.

yeah, the bad words were probably not a good idea, certainly not forum etiquette.  i can understand the frustration though - its obvious that the thread wasnt read properly before answers were posted.  Posting lines like " and are you providing internet to your neighbour hood for free" and "Highly probable I would say. Lolz" when the question of wireless was already asked and answered would almost seem like someone swearing at you.

oh, and i think that this "Grant" was by far the worst poster in that thread

- why was he asking if 40GB as downloaded when the 'letter' clearly stated 20GB
- its perfectly acceptably to say you havent blown your cap when the billing says you have - i.e. a fault is occuring (seemed likely given the historical usage displayed for a brand new connection)
- "same old monkeys posting on forums" - easily as bad as swearing IMO
- "So, with all due respect - MF - FO!!"  << exactly the same as swearing with ***'s and $$$'s substituted
- "Thats why you have Telecom as your provider" << we have rules about that here too
