I have to say - signing up to port my number across from 2Degrees was a painless and fairly pleasant experience. The subsequent phone call from a gentleman to explain that I'd be receiving a series of txt messages and confirming some details was also a nice touch.

Looking forward to the move and to getting my Watch connected!

Hi all

Technical error has been resolved with a hot fix so hopefully this fixes most issues.

The access error "are you sure you're the owner" still exists today however will raise this with the project team on Monday.

Have a great weekend everyone πŸ˜€

Not bad just to sit at home and have it all set up in less than 5 minutes…….

Quite a wait but finally good to have it going.

Damn so I’m on a Red+ 40gb plan with 1 share, and it doesn’t support OneNumber. Comparing the equivalent ~$100 spend on the existing plan, the new plans would only give us 12gb each.

We don’t use enough to take advantage of the full blown unlimited plan that would be another jump up in price.

Was really hoping to stay on that deal.πŸ˜•

Ported my 2D number across this morning after receiving the email around 7.30am.

Couldn't have been simpler or more convenient!

Instructions were clear, process was easy and the whole thing worked seamlessly.
Adding my Apple Watch eSIM to my mobile plan was even easier!

Kudos to a great implementation of the eSIM process, OneNZ.

So, eSIM is working great on my old series 6 but unfortunately the battery in that watch is no longer holding charge so I have just ordered a new series 9.

Is there anything I need to know in advance of setting up the new watch? Is it just a matter of deleting the eSIM from the old watch and then setting up the new watch as per Apple's instructions?

Should be removing it from the old watch first.

Waiting a bit and then setting it up on the new watch as the first time

I've got a 6 with the same prob other than that it's still good. You can get a new battery from Apple for around $250 I'm thinking of doing this instead. https://getsupport.apple.com/topics

Hi Everyone

I am having a major headache trying to setup my new apple watch ultra 2 to esim on onenz.  Both are running latest software updates. I have so far spent 1hr on phone to apple and 1 hour instore at One nz botany yesterday to no avail.... id be so appreciative of any help.  The issue is i cannot select set up mobile its simply un-selactable and greyed out.  Apple has said its not an issue with my watch they are saying a network provider issue.  The Apple tech also said the watch is missing an iccid number? Under general in settings and about, it should have this assigned to it?  i have tried to uninstall and remove watch app and repair as new watch twice its very weird?  The watch was purchsed from JBhifi on launch day in NZ.  Im really at a loss what to do next and would be very appreciative of any advice and or support.

Thanks everyone :)
