Took me and my companion mobiles over to Might Ape faster plan - while the special is on. I'm done with the extra cost and fluff from One.nz
I did the same for my wife and I. We've halved our mobile bill but still have all the same features & our numbers. Kind of a no-brainer.

I moved from One NZ to Contact a few months back especially for their companion plans but also because they had a 6 months half price promo.
At full price we get the unlimited plan for $80 + 3 companions at $25 each which works out to be ($155 per month/4) $38.75 per person.
The equivalent from One NZ would have cost us $85 + $40 x 3 = $205.00 per month!
The only thing we’re missing out on is the One Wallet, the new satellite texting and wearables which none of us use anyway
Adding to my previous comment as i've noticed Contact mobile have just refreshed their plans.

Their previous Medium and Large plans were $60 for 10GB and $80 for Unlimited.
It has now changed to Medium $45 for 25GB and Large $60 for 75GB both with endless data.
The best value still is the group plans where you can add additional members who will have their own identical plan for $25 per month.
Tempted to switch to the new large as 75GB is more than enough data for all of us anyway, with a $20 per month saving.
So 75GB per person for 4 people will work out to $60 + $25 x 3 = $135 per month
I would change but I'm wary of porting my number to another carrier - read a few too many horror stories on here with various things not working afterwards. Also I'm hesitant as to what the roaming coverage would be like, unless it's the same as Vodafone/One has in place currently.
I think I'm on the new plan but they sent me a text to say I had an "international add-on" - what the hell? I never ordered or requested this - I certainly hope I'm not charged for it.
I've cancelled it just now so hopefully it's gone by tomorrow (when my plan rolls over).

That addon is free for plans better than endless small and is included... This is actually quite an old addon and not many people use it. Either way, it's still free.

Problem with that is the Spark coverage at my place isn't the best, Vodafone/One is much better.

Have you looked at.

Or kogan. The one network is actually pretty good, its their billing and customer service that lets them down to moving to an operator on their network gets you the speed and coverage without the drama of CSR lies and incompetence.

I had to google this... and then I had to blink several times to see if what I was seeing was real or not... I don't like their website... but $45 for unlimited... I don't see a ToS, about us or anything... who are they?

I recently visited a OneNZ store, as we currently have 4 mobiles with OneNZ. With OneNZ on their Endless Plus plan, its $70 per month for 50GB, plus 3x $35 for the 3 companion plans, bringing the total plan cost to $175.
Contact who host their mobile service on the OneNZ network, would be $60 + $25 x 3 = $135 per month for 75GB per month per user.
When I mentioned to OneNZ in store that Contact are considerably cheaper, they said they are not authorised to offer any discounts to retain existing customers.
They also mentioned that OneNZ satellite texting, which is of nil benefit to us, and requires the latest devices anyway.
I cant see the justification in paying OneNZ an additional $40 per month just so that when we replace our devices with the latest on the market, we will have satellite texting on the off chance we end up somewhere in the bush without cell reception. The satellite texting seems like a gimmick which will be of little value for most users.
Interestingly OneNZ are quite happy to have long term customers (20+ years with Vodafone and OneNZ) move to other providers who offer better plans for significantly less cost, with nil attempt at retention.
