It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you!

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

AFAIK if you filled out the pre-registration forms for HTC Magic or iPhone 3GS you would have received the email.

So for those who actually prefer other Smart Phones and didn't register for the two you mention, there's no chance of attending?

Hmm. What type of people do they expect to attend? Because I'm only 18, would it be odd if I attended?

It doesn't matter what age you are mate, anyone who shows an interest in smartphones would be welcome to attend. Being 18 or 80 wouldn't matter as you'd all share a common interest, so no it wouldn't be odd at all!

As one of the minor helpers talking at the christchrch evening i can pretty much say that it will be a pretty informal affair. it is just an evening to feild any questions to us guys and girls about some smart phones, hopefuly tell you some thing you don't know about the phones and ways you can use them to your advantage.
No death by power point or anything. lol

Not asking you to give anything away, but do you know if there will be any talk of impending phone releases?

No, they are just aiming to get people to learn more about smart phones and what they can do. Most people i know only know about 40% of what their phone could do.
And really just to force some knowlege out there.
