Hi all

Does anyone with the new sanyo 5600 have problems with their miniSD?
My feelings is that it is a cheap card or that because it is USB it is completely unreliable to use as a wee harddrive....

The issues I have had:

1.Mp3's that play on my PC or wherever will not play in the media player.

2.The mp3 player crashes and you have to remove the battery to get the phone to unfreeze.

3.Images that you put onto the miniSD do not show up on the phone, they show as a box with red crosses....

4.You can't set images you put onto the phone (not taken with camera) as screensavers or what have you.

I have set up the folders correctly, and tried formatting etc
Any advice or has anyone experienced similar issues?
Do you think it is the card or the phone?
I'm taking it to the shop BUT
I don't want to have to send this thing back, it's the 3rd faulty telecom product I have had recently and I'm getting fed up, only use the phones because I get them cheap.
ARGH!!!!

As you are posting in the Vodafone New Zealand forum. My advice to you is throw that Sanyo away. Then go to the nearest Vodafone shop and buy a real phone! Have a nice day.

ha ha... just don't shell out any money for a V3G handset... unless you need a tan in the groin area (assuming you keep your phone in your pocket when it's not in use- the tan can be localised to any area!)

or take you phone into a Telecom Store, let them know the problem, and you should be sweet... and in future, post the Telecom questions in the Telecom forum, where you will get more intelligent responses!

Hi , the issue sounds like the MP3 are encoded incorrectly, also if you take pics with a high res camera and put them on the phone they will not display becuase they are higher res that the phone can support
