I think people secretly enjoy being able to whinge on forums I can't think of why else they stick with providers delivering poor service for so long.

Effort to change providers > Effort to whine on forums.

Fear of the unknown. What if changing is worse? What if it is the wrong decision? One of the primary requirements to be happy is to believe bad circumstances are not your fault. It is as important as having food, shelter, and to procreate. So whining makes you belief it is someone else's fault that you are getting bad internet, thus whining makes you happy, thus people whine instead of changing (which would make them responsible for the change and any issues).

Totally off topic, but since this thread has (also) turned into whining...

grudge: There's no contracts and no disconnection fees

I guess facts are not your strong point,

When i signed up over the telephone i was told that there  was a $95 early disconnection fee which gets reduced each month you are with them........when i looked at the telecom site there was an establishment fee....sorry if i dont have a spare $150 odd dollars this week

But lets go with your assumption .......

It's not an assumption it's a fact, while what you're saying was true at one point, that doesn't apply anymore. I can guarantee you there's no disconnection fee. Call and see if you don't believe me.
