Just during the last week I have noticed an error message come up when I try to open my "Vodafone SMS" on my huawei vodem...

"A hardware problem is affecting SMS.
- Re-start Vodafone Mobile Connect and SMS
- Ensure that no other programs are using your mobile device, and try again
- Delete the device in the 'Manage Devices' view, add it back again, and then try again.
- Re-start your computer.
If this error persists, please contact Support at your mobile network operator.

Support information:

SMS error code ReadPhonebookData error"

So I cannot send texts from it, including checking my balance which I really need to do.

Another problem, which is not currently and issue as it seems to have gone away, but was annoying for a while, is each time I disconnected from the net the VF mobile connect lite software would say "disabling device", then when I click connect to net it would say "enabling device", but it never would. I had to manually pull the device out, reinsert, and restart the software. Any ideas what was upsetting it?

Anyone got any help on this one, last month I exceeded my limit as I had no way to check it.

This month a MS update reset my usage meter again, so I have no idea of data usage, and I still can't text out to check balance.
