Heya.

I was wondering if it was at all possible to transfer credit from a VF Sim Card-Telecom Sim?

I am guessing it cant be done, but thought I would throw it out there anyway. Even if I was to lose 50% of the credit that would be cool I guess. I have $500 on my Sim (Won as a prize) but want to hop over to telecom as it suits my needs better.

Thanks for all the help :)

Not on prepaid. Various postpaid plans will entice an account credit for a 24month term and porting your number to Telecom.

There is never a direct transfer (ie VF say to Telecom "here is $13.54 to put on John Smith's new connection") of credit but like nzbnw said sometimes an account credit is offered by the new provider to entice you across.

It would be like Iron man giving The Mandarin (His Nemisis) Pepper Potts as a present.

Credit cannot be transferred... of course if you sign a 24 month contract, you can sometimes get some free credit - but this is available to anyone and the fact you have $500 credit already will make no difference what so ever.

Changing the idea of this concept slightly, does Vfone allow credit from one account to be passed onto another Vfone account? Then you would be able to sell it..

If you mean from one prepaid account to another, I have asked about this previously and answer was no.

Unsure about Prepaid to On Account.

Sadly you are trapped on vodafone till you use that up.

Things you can do with it are pay for parking, buy tickets for things with mticket and donate it to those places that let you give them $20 by text. That way you get the best value from that credit, rather than waste it on the non competitive calling and texting offers.
