For about 8 hours every single channel including PPV and movies were unscrambled?

It was cool but it was also kinda weird.

It was on both decoders as well.

Anybody else experience this?

Any explanation?

Years and years ago (When I was a student at high school ... that long ago!) Sky used to descramble the channels for a short period of time - calls would be made to let everyone know that it was descrambled. I assume it was done to give people a taste of whats available so you might consider signing up for PPV.

... of course, it could simply have been a technical glitch ...
