Has Vodafone recently introduced a new set of number 02121xxx?   I'm suddenly getting a number of unsolicited "Hi there" texts and I suspect that it's because they are using 021 abcd... instead of 02121abcd...

There's a 04 210 number range in Wellington now that seems to be assigned to Vodafone. A friend of ours got this number and my wife was confused with the 210 prefix on a landline. It was even more confusing because this friend also has a mobile number with Vodafone that is 021 0xx.

Perhaps is the same thing, someone dialing 021 in front of 210 because the owner said "I have a Vodafone number now on my landline"?

Thanks for the info.
Very marketing smart of Vodafone to have landline customers with 210 xxx numbers.
And very dumb of Vodafone not to realise that some/many people think "mobile" when they see 21.
Oh well, I'll save these unsolicited texts and when I've got 100 then I'll send them to Vodafone for investigation!
