Our family have 2 Nexus One handsets.

If we send an MMS from one to the other, it doesn't quite work. The notification turns up, and we press "download" -- but after about 10 seconds we get "download unsuccessful"

However, sending from any other handset (not Nexus one) to the Nexus one will work, and the jpg turns up.

Likewise, sending from a Nexus one to any other handset works...

It's only N1 to N1 that is failing consistently.

What can I do next? Something this phone can't parse in the SMIL? or something being munged by the MMSC for these handsets?

i've found 2 more NexusOne handsets... so, four all up

consistently a MMS sent from a Nexus One to a Nexus one will not download on the handset.

I'll hunt down 2 XT sims and see if the problem persists.

You cannot use a Nexus One on XT, if that's what you're proposing.

Edit: Unless you're in a 2100 MHz coverage area.

Heh. I'm only using XT to test MMS. Thank you for your concerns for my coverage. ;)
